This Privacy Policy explains how ApiaryAI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

• Location Data: GPS coordinates you record for apiary sites and hive placements.
• Media Access: Photos and audio recordings you choose to capture in the app.
• Account Information: Email and username used to create and access your account.
• App Usage Data: Anonymous information such as feature usage patterns, device type, OS version, and crash logs. This helps us maintain and improve the app.
• Purchase Data: Information related to in-app purchases and subscriptions, processed via RevenueCat.

We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) or any data used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide core app functionality
• Record and manage apiary site locations
• Process and validate subscriptions
• Improve app performance and fix bugs

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We use a few trusted third-party service providers strictly to operate the app:

• Firebase – Authentication, secure data storage, crash reporting
• RevenueCat – Subscription processing and validation
• Google Analytics (basic) – Anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (no advertising identifiers)

These services act as data processors and do not use your information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. Data Storage & Security

Inspection data and login credentials are securely stored in Firebase.
Data is encrypted during transmission.
We recommend exporting your inspection data regularly for your own records.

6. Children’s Privacy

ApiaryAI is not specifically directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Parents or guardians may contact us to review or delete data related to a minor’s account.

7. No Tracking or Advertising

ApiaryAI does not:

• Collect IDFA or other advertising identifiers
• Track users across apps or websites
• Serve personalized ads

Because we do not perform any tracking, the app does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.”
